College sponsors Ice Palace Accessibility Day

The college is excited to sponsor the 2025 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Ice Palace Accessibility Day. This event will provide opportunities for anyone with a mobility, mental health, physical health or chronic illness challenge, and older adults, to see the symbol of carnival, the Ice Palace.

Fall 2024 Honors Students Announced

North Country Community College has named its President’s List and Vice President’s List honors students for the Fall 2024 semester. The President’s List recognizes those students who have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better. Students whose grade point average is between 3.25 and 3.49 are recognized by inclusion on the Vice President for Academic Affairs Honors List.

Wilderness Rec Students Complete Winter Practicum

Students in the college's Wilderness Recreation Leadership program recently completed their winter practicum in the Adirondacks. The group spent nine days in the Eastern High Peaks, backpacking and learning to navigate and work as a team in colder weather.

NCCC to host Welcoming and Belonging Micro-credential

The Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA) and Adirondack Diversity Initiative (ADI) have announced the launch of a new, fully virtual micro-credential course for North Country businesses and nonprofits committed to making their businesses and workplaces more welcoming and inclusive for diverse staff and clientele. The online Welcoming and Belonging Micro-credential will be offered through North Country Community College (NCCC) starting later this month.

Pinning Ceremony Celebrates First Hybrid Nursing Class
