SARANAC LAKE — North Country Community College has announced that longtime Saints coach and administrator Chad LaDue will return to the basketball sidelines as the head coach of the college's women's basketball program.

LaDue brings nearly three decades of coaching, athletic administration, and student-athlete development experience to the position, along with a deep connection to North Country Community College as both a former student-athlete and coach.

LaDue previously served as the head coach of the Saints men's basketball program for 14 seasons, taking over in 2002-03. During his tenure, he established North Country as a consistent and competitive program in NJCAA Region III, compiling a 233-176 overall record—the most victories in North Country men's basketball history.

"North Country has been a very important part of my life," said LaDue. "I have always believed in what this college and our athletic programs can do for student-athletes. I'm excited to get back on the court and have the opportunity to build something special with our women's basketball program.

"My goal is to develop young women who are successful not only as basketball players, but as students, teammates, and members of our community. We want to build a program that our student-athletes, alumni, college, and community can be proud of."
