A group of faculty and staff carried the North Country banner, NCCC student Olivia Sawyer looked regal as Carnival Princess, the Student Government Association marched through downtown, and college President Joe Keegan and his wife Lisa surveyed the excitement from the judge’s stand.

Later, the Keegans handed out trophies to parade winners in the Harrietstown Town Hall auditorium.Bernie at the parade

Earlier in the day, North Country and Paul Smith’s College teamed up to host the annual alumni reception, prior to the parade, at the Hotel Saranac. It was a wonderful event that drew a great group of current and former students, faculty, staff and administration from both colleges.

Here’s a great selection of photos from the reception and the parade (below), most courtesy of Lisa Keegan. ward to next year!
