Natural Beauty Workshops offered at NCCC Malone

Soap Making MALONE – North Country Community College will offer a trio of affordable Natural Beauty Workshops at its Malone campus starting later this month.

The courses, which are open to the public, will be held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Reshetkina Hall Student Lounge, 75 William St. Each course costs $20.

Feb. 29: Lovely Scented Soap. This course will use nourishing oils to make soap that is both luxurious and fabulous, all without harmful ingredients. Easy to make, the soap can be used almost immediately.

March 7: In the Bath. Learn how to make bath salts, bath powder and body lotions using all-natural, Earth friendly ingredients.

March 14: Facial Spa. Treat yourself to a facial spa. Learn how to make facial scrub, facial steam, toner and lip balm/salve.
