The Peer Advocate program is an initiative of the college’s Human Services department that was developed in partnership with Community Connections of Franklin County. It involves a group of four trained peer advocates who are available to help fellow students with a range of issues and challenges: mental health, addiction, health care, financial problems, housing, food, health insurance and more.

Peer advocates have been trained to provide resources and referrals for those in need.

Students can call or text a Peer Advocate at 518-521-8480. They will respond within 24 hours. All calls and texts are kept confidential.
