March 23, 2026

SARANAC LAKE -- The college welcomed more than 90 people to our Saranac Lake campus last Friday for the Adirondack Health Foundation's Rural Healthcare Symposium.

Titled "Navigating Change: The State of Rural Healthcare in an Uncertain Era," the symposium was moderated by Kevin Kerwin, President and CEO of Iroquois Healthcare Association, and featured four panelists: Adirondack Health President and CEO Aaron Kramer, NCCC President Joe Keegan, Dr. Amy Corliss, the hospital's Medical Director and head of its Hospitalist Program, and Franklin County Public Health Director Hannah Busman.

The discussion focused on the biggest challenges facing the health care landscape in our communities.

Thanks to the Adirondack Health Foundation for organizing this event, and thanks to all who attended and participated.
