Info Sessions set on SUNY Reconnect

SARANAC LAKE -- North Country Community College is hosting a series of information sessions on a program that provides free associate degrees for adult learners.

SUNY Reconnect is open to those ages 25-55 without a prior college degree. The program provides free associate degrees —covering tuition, fees, textbooks, and supplies— for eligible students in these high-demand fields: Addictions Counseling, Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Health Science, Nursing-Associate Degree, and Radiologic Technology. New this year, students entering the Associate Degree in Nursing program with prior degrees may now qualify for SUNY Reconnect.

Led by North Country staff, the upcoming information sessions on SUNY Reconnect will provide an opportunity to learn about eligibility, degree pathways, course scheduling, advising and supports, and more. There are more than a dozen sessions scheduled via Zoom, at various dates and times, beginning on June 11 and continuing through July and August. Wednesday, July 30 at noon
