NCCC marks National Rad Tech Week

SARANAC LAKE -- North Country marked National Radiologic Technology Week on Wednesday, Nov. 5, with a celebration in the Connector that featured cupcakes, goodies and music!

National Radiologic Technology Week is an annual event that honors the essential contributions of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals to patient care and health care safety.

This weeklong celebration occurs during the week of Nov. 8 to mark the anniversary of Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen's discovery of the x-ray on Nov. 8, 1895.

The theme for the year is: “The Kaleidoscope of Radiologic Technology.” Many thanks to all of the Radiologic Technologists within the Medical Imaging field and the impact they have in patient care. Their work is vital by aiding in the process of diagnosing patients for proper care and better health.
