Kemp, Mallach Sworn In as New Trustees

SARANAC LAKE — North Country Community College welcomed two new members to its Board of Trustees this week following their appointment by Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Jordanna Mallach and Jessica Kemp were sworn in during the Board’s Aug. 25 meeting. They fill two previously vacant seats on the board.

She brings extensive leadership and public-service experience to the Board, including a long career in the military and work supporting veterans and their families.

Kemp is a North Country Community College graduate who earned her associate degree in Business Administration summa cum laude. She previously served on the college’s Board of Trustees as Student Trustee from 2020 to 2022. Kemp currently works in accounting and financial management.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jordanna and Jessica to the Board of Trustees,” said North Country Community College President Joe Keegan. “Both bring strong connections to our communities, valuable professional experience and a commitment to public service. We’re especially pleased to welcome Jessica back to North Country in this new role as a trustee.”

The North Country Community College Board of Trustees provides oversight and guidance in support of the college’s mission and the students and communities it serves.
