Campus Food Pantry support available amid shutdown
SARANAC LAKE -- As the federal government shutdown continues to disrupt SNAP benefits and other assistance programs, the college is reminding students and college employees that its Campus Food Pantry is available as a confidential resource for anyone facing food insecurity or difficulty accessing essential items.
The NCCC Campus Food Pantry, available to students, faculty and staff, offers a personalized approach to support. Each pantry order is tailored to meet individual needs, preferences, and household sizes. Members of the college community can request assistance in several ways:
- Submit an order online using the Pantry Request Form
- Visit Ang Brice’s office to discuss needs privately
- Email abrice@nccc.edu
In addition to supporting those in need, the college welcomes donations of non-perishable food, toiletries, and household essentials. Contributions can be dropped off at C-19 (Mulholland Hall) or arranged directly through Brice. View the pantry’s Amazon Wishlist for suggested items.
