Thomas Callahan

Tom is a full-time business professor at NCCC. He teaches classes in person, online and in the college’s Second Chance PELL program where he instructs in the state and federal prisons at Bare Hill, Franklin, and Ray Brook. Tom is a native of Saranac Lake and graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1982. He spent the first year of his academic career at NCCC before moving on to Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. While working full-time, he earned his Bachelors of Science in Behavioral Science. Subsequently, he earned his Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations.

Tom spent the next 27 years working as a Human Resources Director in the Wall Street area of NYC. After moving back to Saranac Lake, he accepted a teaching position with NCCC and has been a member of the business faculty since 2016.
