Transfer Appeal Policy

Transfer Credit Appeals 
Initial evaluation and awarding of transfer credit is conducted by the College Registrar. Following that 
determination, students are able to appeal the credits awarded or denied directly to the College 
Registrar. In the event that after the appeal to the College Registrar the student believes that they were 
not properly awarded credit earned at other institutions, consistent with NCCC transfer policy, they may 
appeal to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Final determination of accepting or denial of transfer 
credits rests with that office.
