NCCC Library What We Do
What We Do
The NCCC Library has many services to enhance your learning experience while at NCCC. We can help you by checking out your books, giving assistance with technology, advising you on research questions, or ordering books and articles from other libraries. If you need help, please ask any of the staff at the library.

Borrowing
You can borrow most of the books and other items found in the library for 1 month
at a time. We are happy to extend your loan period as long as that item is not needed
by another user. Faculty may put books on reserve for students in their class and
these items will be available at the circulation desk. If our library doesn’t have
what you need, we can request the item from another library through Interlibrary Loan
(ILL). You can either ask a staff member directly or look for the item you need on
WorldCat and request it online.
Instruction
The Library Director offers interactive sessions on research strategies, source evaluation,
citations, and information literacy.
Community Borrowers
Individuals living in Essex and Franklin counties are welcome and encouraged to use
library services at all three campuses. Community members may borrow books and request
materials through interlibrary loan.
