Board of Trustees Announcement

The Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President of North Country Community College, a fully accredited community college with the State University of New York. The President is the chief executive of the college and reports to a ten-member Board.

Ranked as the 22^nd best community college (Washington Monthly) in the country, North Country Community College provides an exceptional learning and community building experience throughout its service area. Through its three campuses, satellite sites and distance learning, the college is dedicated to offering academic and workforce development opportunities that challenge and support individuals in their educational and personal growth.

The Board of Trustees seeks a visionary, personable and collaborative learner who is committed to educational excellence, student success and community engagement. The successful candidate must have high energy, the highest professional standards and an accessible, open management style that holds a great appreciation for diversity of people and ideas. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership experience in linking the college to the needs of its service area by cooperatively working with the counties of Essex and Franklin, the North Country region and the State University of New York system administration.
