Yesterday's weather system continues to linger in the region. Travel advisories continue to recommend that individuals remain off the roads through the morning. Whiteout conditions will be intermittent throughout the region through nightfall. Many main roads are not fully plowed and a number of back roads are still not passable this morning. The College will remain closed today as a result of the weather and poor road conditions.
Please do not travel today unless absolutely necessary. The less number of people in the roads will allow road crews to more safely clear roadways in the ensuing hours today.
We anticipate the College will reopen tomorrow -Thursday, March 16th.

Due to the weather system moving into the area; the College will be closed on Tuesday, March 14th. Reports of potential dangerous road conditions (with heavy snowfall and intermittent periods of whiteout conditions) will make travel difficult in the North Country region.
We will continue to monitor weather reports throughout the day and will make a determination on the College's status for tomorrow. Please continue to check your email, the College website, and local media for any change in the College's status for Wednesday morning, March 15th.
Finally, State agencies recommend that people avoid driving as the day progresses. If you must drive on Tuesday, please drive with extreme caution and take it slow!
