Adam Parker, Head Coach Men's Soccer
Coach Parker begins his tenure as just the 4th coach in North Country’s 40 year soccer history.
Previously Parker was the Assistant Academy Director for the Palm Beach Pumas in West Palm Beach Florida. Parker’s duties included acting as Assistant Coach for the College Prep Program. In his two years as an assistant, Parker and Head Coach Bobby Lennon promoted 14 players to N.C. State, Liberty University, American University as well as several other NCAA Division 1, Division 2 and NAIA schools. Parker also served as the coordinator for the Academy’s Youth Outreach Program which introduced soccer to children throughout the economically disadvantaged areas of Palm Beach County.
Prior to coaching in Palm Beach, Parker was the Men’s Assistant Coach at SUNY Fredonia from 2002-2004. While at Fredonia he and Head Coach P.J. Gondek developed 9 All-SUNYAC and 4 NSCAA-All Region players. Parker also helped Fredonia to the 2003 Conference Tournament Final.
As a player Parker is a New York Stateproduct having won 3 sectional titles at Pittsford-Mendon High School in Rochester New York and playing for 4 years at SUNY Fredonia. At Fredonia, Parker played on 4 SUNYAC regular season championship teams. Individually he was named to the 2000 SUNYAC All-Conference Team and the 2000 All-Region Team.
After his collegiate playing days were done, Parker moved onto play for the Palm Beach Pumas in the Premier Development League(PDL). From 2003-2006 Parker was Team Captain and a starting center back for the squad. In 2006 he was named to the PDL’s Team of the Week.
Parker is an alumnus of SUNY Fredonia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2001 and received his Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2007. In 2004 Parker attained a USSF “D” National Coaching License. Parker also serves North Country Community College as the schools Residence Halls Director.
