Lifelong Learning - Driving Courses
New York State Pre-Licensing Course
The purpose of this 5-hour class is to educate future drivers about safe and efficient driving skills. Anyone who wishes to take the driver's license road test, but does not posses a blue card, must complete this course. Tuition: $30.00. All registrations must be in person at either the Saranac Lake Records Office, the Ticonderoga Main Office or the Malone Main Office. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must present their learner's permit prior to registration. Contact records@nccc.edu for more information.

Defensive Driving
Interested in becoming a better driver? This six hour course is offered in cooperation with the New York Safety Council and the approval of the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
Successful completion of the course may result in a 10% discount on Collision & Auto Liability Insurance for three years and up to four points off your driving records. Register for Online Course
