Winter 2008 Term Distance Learnnig Offerings
Spring 2007 Term Distance Learning Offerings
NCCC offers a variety of courses utilizing a distance learning platform. Full-time and part-time students are eligible to enroll in these classes at normal registration periods or on-line. A matriculated student who chooses to enroll in an on-line offering, should be cognizant of the following policy regarding graduation requirements:
- North Country Community College requires students to enroll and successfully complete over 50% of their program requirements on one of its campuses in a traditional classroom, lab or lecture environment. Any exception due to illness, ADA compliance, etc., must be pre-approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
- It is the College's policy not to offer courses that will meet over 50% of a particular program in a distance - learning arena. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to current and potential students on the college's web site or as an addendum in the Annual Academic Catalog.
Distance Learning laboratories are provided at NCCC Malone, NCCC Ticonderoga, and the College's main campus at Saranac Lake. The laboratories are open for use by day and evening students. For specific information, please visit the NCCC Distance Learning laboratory in your region.
Technical issues concerning the Distance Learning platform should be directed to Scott A. Harwood, Assistant Dean for Institutional Research and Support.
General comments concerning the NCCC Distance Learning Program should be directed to Thomas J. Finch, Vice President of Academic Affairs.
