Health and Mental Health Services
North Country Community College does not maintain or provide on-campus health and/or mental health services. Students requesting or requiring medical or mental health assistance are encouraged to seek assistance by contacting local medical/mental health professionals or their family physician. The Office of Campus and Student Life provides information on medical and mental health services available in the community.
In the event of an emergency, the College will work with local emergency response professionals. Notification will be made to the emergency contact listed with the College. In the event a student is reported missing, the College will institute procedures for a missing person.
In case of accident, all full-time students are covered under the College's mandatory accident insurance program. Optional insurance coverage for illness is available at an additional cost. Students using a private physician service should be prepared to satisfy their financial obligations to the physician by cash or through individual or family health insurance programs.
