Associates of Applied Science in Business: Office Technology (HEGIS 5005)

 

This program is offered for students interested in preparation for office related and administrative assistant careers.  The curriculum provides vocational skills, in addition to necessary general education courses.  A high school background in business courses is not necessary for entry into this program.  A minimum of 65 credits with a grade point average of 2.00 is required for graduation.

Three (3) credits of BUS/CIS/OFT electives are required for any student who tested above the OFT 101 Beginning Keyboarding level, first semester.  Students entering with one year of high school bookkeeping and/or high school accounting should consider BUS 101 Accounting.  Students with no high school bookkeeping and/or accounting should take BUS 154 Small Business Accounting.
